It’s Literally Alive! You Could Ask To Make One!
Maybe I’m biased because I write the plot, but I feel asking the structure you’re trying to escape from to make an entrance is even less subtle than sneaking out the prisoner’s gate with a prisoner.
For what it’s worth, the nihallak ship has 5 tendrils that can turn into access hatches but the 3 back ones are currently underwater and partially buried as they anchor the ship on the shoreline. Asking the ship to move one would also be not very subtle.
