Hi everyone. First and foremost, while I talked about it on some channels, I want to make a public update so everyone is aware of what’s going on: I had a heart-related situation arise in May. I’m on medication and waiting to do further tests and did some changes to my lifestyle to avoid making things worse in the meantime. This led me through an emotional rollercoaster, which prompted me to cancel a few things I wanted to do, for the sake of balancing my work and health.

I feel better now, mentally, but will try to keep my workflow balanced and avoid going overboard. This doesn’t change my commission availability or update schedule, but know that if you’re approaching with some big project or something time sensitive, I will likely have to decline for now. Pictures and short comics are still welcome. I like to believe I’ve managed to keep a good workflow since I reopened in January, clearing 5 commission per month on average, so you can use that to gauge how quickly the queue is moving if you’re considering a commission.

Finally, while June has 5 Mondays, we only have funding for 4 pages, so the 2nd of June will be skipped.

Update from Sokaras – last years bonus arts have been uploaded. This mainly includes the Supporter suggestions in bonus art section and Character Question comic

-May Overview

Hi folks! Last month was very productive, with the minicomic sketch pages, content commissions and random bits of art I made on the curios server. I hope to continue this streak this month, with the addendum that I plan to do a small sketch set that is mermaid-themed to go along MerMay. I wish I could color it but I wouldn’t have the time to do all that and my regular work this month, so that might be a thing for later. The set will be uploaded on my curios server as I draw it, I hope you’ll like it!

I should probably, eventually, possibly, build a section for my non-fvt art here, on the website. Can’t rely on discord and random platforms forever. All in due time~

-April Overview

Hi everyone, I hope things are okay on your end~ Spring is almost here, I got my health and motivation back, let’s get things rolling! We’re back on regular schedule with 4 color pages. I didn’t finish sketching chapter 16 last month because I decided to spend some time drawing things for myself instead. This month’s taskload is packed, so I don’t think I’ll have time for extra sketch pages given I’ll have a bunch of minicomic work to do. That commission list keeps getting longer too, so I can’t neglect that! What happens happens, but I do want to wrap chapter 16, as I’m excited for chapter 17!

-March Overview

Greetings. So as it turned out, I was quite sick for most of February. I managed to get most of my work done regardless, but I am quite tired and admittedly a bit depressed/demotivated from the ordeal, and still have to catch up on some things. So this month will only have 3 color pages, there will be no update on March 3rd and March 31th. I do plan to sketch 10 pages for supporters, maybe even try to wrap chapter 16 once and for all. Commission work will continue as usual. Sorry for the slower updates, and thank you for your patience and support, stay awesome~

-February Overview

Hi everyone, I hope January treated you decently. Time for the shortest month! We still have a 4 page schedule along with the usual bonus content, I managed to do some real progress on the Fairy Island map, currently pondering if I want to keep the city symbols or not. I’m at the hardest part to draw, the cities. Even if they’re not meant to be an exact representation of each cities, it’s just a lot of details packed in a small space. It’ll get done eventually. Public commissions are going well so far, I’m on schedule, the queue is currently about 3 months long.

-January Overview

Hi everyone, Happy 2025! Starting today, I am officially reopen for commission to the public. For the last year or so I did commission mostly for the people on the discord server, but now I’ve built a commission page, with submission form and all. As usual, only the fvt-related content will be posted here, while the other content will be posted on the Curio server, although I’m considering building a separate art page in the future.

Comic-wise, chapter 15 will be sexy and light hearted, as a change of pace from the previous chapter. Chapter 16, currently being sketched, take us back to the Nihallaks, who have their own drama to handle. Chapter 17 will have Amy face her fears before finally launching to Armagon. I’m not sure we’ll see chapter 17 colored this year, but I haven’t determined the exact page count of chapter 16 yet, so anything is possible.

-December Overview

Hi everyone, it’s time to wrap up this year~

Firstly: I’m planning to take work lightly this month, so there will only be 3 color pages made. I’m skipping tomorrow December 2nd and December 16th, everything else will proceed as usual.

Secondly: I’m planning to increase my commission prices starting in January. It will not affect fvt milestones, only commissions. I haven’t updated my commission sheet yet, but when I do, you’ll see the changes on the Curios Server. It won’t be a dramatic increase, Just enough to balance inflation, really.

Speaking of commission, I plan to add a commission section/form to this website at some point. I was going to do that last month but got really busy. Once it’s done, people won’t need to go on discord to commission me, so that could potentially bring new customers.

-November Overview

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice spooky month~ This November, I plan to add a commission form to the website to makes things more convenient for the people who would want to commission me but don’t use discord. I would probably add a customer queue that I would update as I process the orders, and also add a FAQ about the kind of commission I do, pricing etc. I can’t promise everything will be ready this month, I have yet to find a good form plugin, but It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while.

Regarding the comic, I’ve properly scripted several chapters ahead of time now, and will likely begin to post a lot of sketch pages for chapter 16 in the supporter channels. If that sounds exciting to you, you only need a 2$ subscription to access the page sketches and you’ll be 6 months ahead of everybody! Check out the discord server for details.

-10 years of FvT

10 years ago I started publishing this silly little comic with no clue of how things would go. Would it be ignored? Would people hate that fairy tails have functions? Would people get bored of the story bits? All that happened to some degree, but overall the project took off and continued growing, and became my longest project ever!

So much has happened, and there’s still so much to do. This year I’m also turning 40 (In December), and some years were rougher than others, but I think I found my pace, and while I wish I could publish a whole chapter every month, that wouldn’t be sustainable as things are right now, so I’ll keep taking it a bit at a time, and we’ll be done when we’re done. As I said before, an ending is planned, and a good chunk of the script is outlined, so it’s all about making our way there.

This month also mark the beginning of fvt minis. I began the work on the first one, a single commissioned page, nothing crazy. There are discussion about more of those in the work by various fans, and I have some of my own ideas as well. There won’t be release deadlines or anything like that, but it’ll be fun to explore random ideas within the fvt universe that don’t need to be integrated within the main story as it progress. I hope you’ll enjoy them too!

So here’s to 10 years of fvt! Thank you always for reading and supporting the comic, it’s been one hell or a ride so far and I’m grateful for the opportunity <3
