Lucky is busy playing 4th-dimensial chess and your still playing checker’s. That just how it goes with types of creatures.
Trying to guess motivation of someone who has time travel powers? You are better just behaving normally and hope THEY do any corrections. She may be doing some chaos butterfly trick.
Thats why star cleared all the data of that message. So Lucky doesn’t find out and starts editing stuff
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t LUCKY she was afraid would find out, because Lucky will find out anyway. It will be later, but that doesn’t really matter, does it? The result will be same if she does the edit “later”.
Only way you can win against time traveler is to kill her (or stop her from using time travel, but it’s internal ability, so …). She says she hates her but I don’t think she wants to kill her.
And even if you Did, you may end up ultimately Dooming yourself. Because you have no ideas if they’re actions are Good or Bad.
Like you said, just pray they’re actually on your side.
Lucky is not omnipotent and does not know how her involvement can change stuff int the long run. So she tries to not be too active when not needed
Also from what i had understood with talks with authors, Lucky trying to do something and she will ride out a timeline as much as she can, to see whether or not that one had the answer she looking for. So hiding stuff from her is still worth doing as she might never realize you hid stuff from her
Hiding SOME stuff may be worth it, but specifically this seems like something she will find out quite easily after the meeting with Armagon.
Meanwhile, I don’t think Star wants other stars to know about it.
Also, yes: if time traveler tells you she’s trying to prevent some terrible future, you need to take into account the possibility she’s right … and the fact that if she’s right, she’s only one who can do it. In ordinary cases, you can find way to verify such warning, but if it’s based on time travel and you can’t time travel, trust is your only option.
Coukd also be that the timetraveler is lying 😀
And yes moat likely Star has plans she hiding from the other star fairies

Star’s last lines shows that this isn’t the first time Lucky has done something that endangers fairykind. So my question is, what else could Lucky have done? Is it possible that she had an influence in the fairy war a thousand years ago, or messed with the Dark Forest for some reason, all to eventually achieve the best future?

Actually, her PREVIOUS lines suggest that bringing Nihallaks is the most dangerous thing she did so far (as far as Star knows). She DID some changes before, and it WAS in conflict with Star’s plans, but it probably didn’t endanger fairykind …
Or they were endagering to fairy kind but she undid them. We dont know too much what is going on with her yet
… OK, what I meant is that the changes STAR KNOWS ABOUT didn’t endanger fairykind. Of course, Star can’t know about changes she undid.
