#298 is scientist model so his smaller eyes are different (they are like cameras) as well as his tentacle tips are different to create more precise tools. The triangle head peace is just a symbol of rank like the Emperors headpiece.
That raises an interesting question. If Nihallak’s can re-configure & reform their tentacles into pretty much any shape or tool they require, how much of the rest of their body can they reconfigure at will? Using eyes as an example, could they just create more eyes at will if they need them? Like, add a dozen new eyes that all have different specialties, such as telescopic/microscopic vision, perception into various spectra (light, infrared, sonar, gamma, etc.).
The implications for other appendages/organs become important quickly. Can they add an organ to absorb/metabolize poison at need? Or, an entire suite of sonar organs so they have better sonar than whales & dolphins? And, how to employ such powers in a pornographic fashion that somehow offers more erotic options than their currently known tentacle abilities?
Yeah. that’s right. I just asked how tentacle monsters can be even more perverted than they already are. Have we REALLY yet approached the potential event horizon of Nihallak perversion?
Their tentacle tips are nano-tools that have the most shape shifting capabilities. The rest of their body can but there seems to be limits as that form is more or less set in stone.
