Slowly but yeah. Too much energy melting body. But not to worry 298 probably has stuff planed to help her. He is main nihallak scientist after all
As I am wont to do, I have thought up a couple characters in detail whom I mentally insert into the story. Two characters, one of whom died, and the other never having been alive in the first place. They would likely dwell in a lair in the Old Volcano.
I notice Star Fairy names correspond with the markings below their eyes (Nebula – shooting star; Star – star; Lucky – clover).
Quick summary of the two characters, since I feel like writing and sharing it somewhere, are as follows:
Diamond; A Star Fairy who died a very long time ago and was (one of) the first attempted resurrection(s). Who she once was matters little, as all that was lost along with her soul. She has not regained any emotion, and has no desire for social contact. She was taken to the Old Volcano to be cared for by:
The Dragon; A construct in the shape of a dragon, made by the fairies’ gods long ago as a servant and a weapon. He is capable of actively absorbing magic energy, which he converts to generic high plane energy. He can absorb active magical effects and radiant energy most easily, either through his armored “hide” or by “breathing” it in. He is capable of negating magical effects this way. He cannot take energy directly from a subject unless they are actively using it significantly – for example, he could siphon energy from a fairy casting a fireball, or from a Nihalaak generating a shield, but not from a sleeping fairy. He is very durable and strong, and can expend high plane energy in raw attacks (such as a breath weapon), but suffers from some major drawbacks. First of all, he constantly expends energy to “live”. He can store a massive amount, but uses it up passively at a significant rate. For this reason, he is likely dormant at present, as the only fairy with him at his lair is a wildcard incapable of generating her own magic. Another drawback is that he was built with limited free will: he has many safeguards and programmed behaviors that he struggles to find a way around. He was built as a weapon against the Nihalaak, but his personality is not a destructive one. He resorts to violence not because he wishes to, but because he is built to. In the past he may have been a danger to the fairies, though he tried to mostly remain secluded lest he harm anyone he doesn’t want to. This eventually resulted in his running out of energy and going dormant. Now he (and his lair) is cared for by Diamond, who cannot wake him.
And that’s what my brain splurted out today. Now that I’ve got it out somewhere, maybe it’ll leave my head for now.
Halp, my brain is running amok. It won’t stop churning.
Hmm, star fairies’ names also have a space theme, but exceptions apply.
Sounds very cool.
Funilly enough an anchient weapin againt nihallaks exists in the comic and its the satelite that made that meteor shower as a warning sygnal
As for stars sadly only 7 in existance as well as the two half star duals (who should not have been born if the stars followed the rules set gor them)
Oof – On a prior page I speculated/questioned if the queen was stealing fairies’ high plane link/soul, and at the time was told that there would be a price to pay for her doing so – this seems like it. Her melting makes her almost look like little tentacles all over – perhaps that will smooth out as she gets hooked up to something that can constantly drain her better than the ship itself. I can only hope the nillhaks put together that the drained pink fairy could use/absorb some of that rampant energy, give her a chance to not fall apart…
298 probably had stuff planed to save her. However no more link stealing for Queen – Amy’s link was all she could safelly hold. Kim’s link is killing her but probably can be solved with nihallak tech. A third one migth cause her to explode

It makes sense in a way – there are dual-nature fairies which probably means they are stable with two high-plane links. If the queen started with her own (which seemed to be pink/magic in its own right) and then added Amy’s, that would leave her as dual-nature and thus not ‘excessive’… but a third seems to be right out.
That raises an interesting theory though – if they can find a way to transfer a dual fairy’s secondary high plane link to one of the ‘wildcard’ fairies, could it end with them both stable again? Not only as a means for the star fairies to help Amy, but also for the Nillhaks to save the queen – they have a ‘wildcard’ fairy left after all. Though an even worse (or better for them) option would be if they could transfer the high plane link to the Ship itself… leaving it potentially self-powering. Scary thought.
Dual fairies a single link. It is more powersull than in other fairies. Her two elements are because of her brain being wired that way and their magic heart being more efficient.
Also Queen does not have three seperate links but one super strong one, as they all fused into one link. However if they can fuse they can in theory be split. However Emperor does not plan on doing that – three fused links are exponansioly stronger then three seperate ones. Queen now is equal to a 100 fairies for energy production
So she can steal magic, but her body can Only contain so much before it start’s to fight against her.
Is this the same for Dark Fairies? If so, is it biological, or because of they’re training?
Yes her biological components can’t take such if an influx of energy and are being shut down.
Dark fairies can drain energy in general but they can’t steal High plain links like Queen does with her tail. So this can’t happen to them
