This is probably late as hell, but I just noticed that Aquei doesn’t have pupils. Is that just a stylistic choice, or is it like a mutation in certain fairies?
Auqei has “watery/foggy” eyes that are common to water fairies but can happen to other types.

“The eye thing is purely an esthetic style on my part, there’ s nothing special to read into it, like the eyes shape. It’s my way of showing particular eye tones seen in real life, but rare. So it’s not a medical condition or a sign of powerful magic or anything”
