That reminds me of something I’ve been wondering: What connection is there between the Nihallaks and the monster in the ocean? The plant monster and the ocean monster both used fairies for magic, and both seemed to know more about fairies than was expected. The plant monster even understands speech. Did the Nihallaks bioengineer some monsters other than Hajibies (don’t remember how to spell)? Or maybe added a little something to the Nihallaks themselves so that monsters would be created from their bodily fluids if a Nihallak died near fairies?
The nihallaks did not create monsters and they don’t even know what they are. Monsters are creatures mutated by damaged nihillium – the stuff nihallaks are made off. From what i understand, monsters came to be after the war between nihallaks and the creators of the fairies (draigjibies) – the nihillium from dead nihallaks mutated most of the flora/fauna
How nihillium works can be read up in the Bonus art section “Nihallak Anatomy + Nihilium” design sketch
Yikes! Nihilium sounds even worse than what I was imagining. The Nihallaks are 95% nihilium that has been programmed to “Find energy, replicate, and adapt”, which is definitely what happened to the not-a-plant. How come it hasn’t taken over the entire island? If nihilium is a fundamental particle that can’t be divided, how can it be destroyed?
I can answer these but can be errors due to me hearing this long ago (also stuff migth have been changed)
1) Only powered nihilum is dangerous. Unpowered is inert and safe.
2) For destruction there it is hard but technically possible naturally by fairies – but very slow. Fairies also have nihilium in them that works differently and makes them stable (imagine like nanobots in their bloodstream). That’s why they don’t mutate immediately like the grass did when exposed to nihillium. Though it can get overwhelmed causing mutations (but that can take years).
Their nihilium also can “deprogram” any nihilium that it encounters. And the nihilium in dark fairies can convert the “deprogramed” nihilium back into High plain energy. So just by living in an area any nihilium eventually gets cleaned up. However if the flora/fauna had mutated at that area this might cause problems as it will try to use fairies to make more of he powered dangerous nihilium

I’m betting as soon as it starts to explode it’s gonna mutate, like that monster we saw in the ocean after it got shot with the railgun.

This is a situation where a dark fairy would be really useful.
I mean, this is all a great plan, but…why is she naked?
She simply didn’t want her brand new clothes ripped apart or exploded lol.
“You want me to kiss you again?” – “You need to ask? Of course I want, but we don’t have time.”
