oh cool – only now noticed that in panel 4 there is light crystal in the wine used for lighting
About time we get some back story on that place.
We know it has monster’s, but that’s about the extent at this point.
I have seen some of the expanded artwork, but you guys really go all out in creating the universe. It’s hard to keep track of it all sometimes. (not that that’s a complaint really)
we have the lore section set up for some of the more broad setting stuff explained
On discord there is also google doc with Q&A where many questions to author and his answers over several years have been compiled and sorted into categories. We had considered linking it here but it very long so for now the mini lore section will do. not to mention it might contain spoilers/no longer canon stuff so it would take time to sort things out
So, First off i have to say that i’ve been following the comic for a while now and seeing it getting better and better has been really fun. I am also very excited for the next chapter since i enjoyed the dark forest “bonus art stuff”. On the topic of the next chapter tho i actually had a question, do we know when it will continue? because i pressume there will be a bit of a break inbetween chapters.

Sooo, I was asked why I think next chapter is a flashback. Well, it’s because in most comics, when one chapter ends with character saying something like “Let me explain how terrible the is” followed by chapter happening in , it’s implied that the next chapter is what the character is explaining, in style of flashback. Also …
Zak and Macey crashed into Nadisha’s house the previous day. Chapter 8 is Nadisha explaining stuff about dark forest, while it cuts to a fairy that is currently trying to survive there for visualization to readers

Given that it’s the dark forest, and the scary thing is not the trees, my process of deduction we can conclude that the most fearsome thing in there is the darkness.
If so, I cast magic missile at it.
