An ovipositor can kill a fairie?
Are there now two living slimes with two minds or still one slime with part of it dead?
Two minds, but one of them is pretty dumb. Basically the idea is that the slime has to reach a certain mass to gain some level of sentience. Its cells or even cell clusters are dumb, just like a few neuron isn’t enough to make a thinking being.
The severed part will probably perish unless it can actually find enough resources to replicate to a decent amount again.
So it’s kind of like a sponge? A colony organism?
