To be fair, monsters in general adapted to the fact that they can get more energy from fairy when they keep her alive (for at least several hours).
yeah – most fairy death from monsters are because a) monster wanted food not energy or b) monster did not know how to take care of her well being

Ok, I did caught up to main story now. I think I have few new character questions left now …
So which part or which character you liked best so far?
Hmmm … “best” is hard question, also “like” is not entirely well-order relation.
I liked how Star dealt with the sea monster, but I think it will be Ominae whose politics I will like best. Similarly, I like the complications 297 brings into story, but I don’t really like him. Queen was sympathetic on start, but I don’t think I will forgive her the soul-stealing. I like the wordbuilding, especially the magic and technology. I also like Amy, our wildcard fairy, and I’m looking forward to their expedition into space. Also, to meeting more dark fairies.
By the way – new pages now are out usually on mondays. We only get friday post of too little mondays in the month
I’m using RSS to read ALL webcomics.
I do that too. And this one will go into my rss once I catch up to present day (whenever that turns out to be). I go through this every time I discover a new favorite, bingeing until up to date and then catching up the rs from the ones I missed while bingeing the new one. Last I looked there were over 800 unread entries in my rss…
I’m not surprised. I’ve yet to meet someone who reads serious number of webcomics without the help of RSS.
