And yes cyntie younger than stars – the stars were first fairies ever made so they automatically will be the oldest
I mean, you don’t get better at something like this automatically by getting older. You get better by using it. Therefore it’s likely there were cases where stars deleted stuff by accident from fairies doing Cyntie’s job – but it might’ve been thousand years before Cyntie.
PS: Stars are oldest, sure. But there is no particular reason why oldest magic/purple fairy couldn’t be still alive, is it?
Oh yeah when mastering powers they probably messed up and deleted more than needed
Author confirmed that the original 100 elemental fairies are dead. Currently oldest an elemental fairy can be is arround 3000

The fact that the message was sent to Star must not leak out. So no fairy must know and seems even the other stars. As thry could read the minds of the Cyntie or any others

Well star, if your not worried about encryption, why are you wiping someones memory? Hmmm?

My guess only star council can get the sygnals. And because stars can’t be here all the time they need fairies working here
Obviously, the encryption is so only the star council can get the signal, but Stars are too lazy to use the encryption end-to-end (decrypting it themselves, on some kind of hand-held computer for example) so they instead let other fairies decrypt the message and then memory-wipe them.
Note that even if stars couldn’t be reachable by radio (why?), they could totally print out the encrypted message, carry it to them and stars could then scan it and decrypt. Better, they could use QR code, easier than OCR.
(Hint: Yeah, standard smart phone would totally support military standard end-to-end encryption. Only reason not all chat software has it is governments like to read private conversations.)
My guess in this case was because 1) Star was present 2) it is a hightened situation due to nihallaks and probably thought it was message relating to them. So they hurried to get it to star
