While rereading the Macey vs. Zak fight, I found the page that made me think the nihallaks caused the Era-Ender. Page 323, lower left panel. Zak says “If you are a threat to the nihallaks they will get desperate and fairies will die. If you know your history you know this is what happened last time.”
yeah, maybe it was a bit too cryptic at the time. The story behind that is that when the nihallak/kulthmas developped the F-jibies and it was clearly obvious the Draigjibies weren’t surrendering and even trying to use captured f-jibies against the nihallaks, the nihallaks started an extermination campaign, no more prisoners.
Brutal.
Ya know, I gotta wonder why exactly she’d want to prove herself? I don’t really think promotion’s give better living wage’s on the island since everything is (mostly) idyllic. I guess it’s just pride, but eh, feel’s like alot of wasted effort on her part personally.
Also, Alot of named fairies on this page. Prop’s for having so many character BIO’s at this point.
Had to delay uploading Domika’s sheet till this page. It would have spoiled she purpesfully neglecting her fire magic side
Pride is a funny thing. Here you are, a being literally made of ‘magic’, and in Domika’s case, *two kinds* of magic, but only working to develop half your potential because you want to show up a particular fairy.
If Domika is really as powerful as Macey AFA Earth magic, then if she ever develops her Fire magic side, she’ll be TERRIFYING. Like, ‘I am Living Magma, I control the fiery Blood of the Earth…let me show you!’ terrifying.
Why settle for being ‘the best Earth fairy’ when you can literally be one of the most powerful fairies around, just by the simple expedient of embracing who and what you literally are. It’s not like you lack commitment or willingness to work hard to get what you want.
dual fairies have a stigma of being unpredictable (if i recall correctly) and due to current system they have to answer to two arch fairies instead of one
From what i understood, Domika is strong and hates that she cant prove how strong she is – if she wins against Macey as she is now, everybody will say its due to boost from her fire capabilities (even if she doesn’t use fire magic, dual fairies generate more magic than non duals)
… she would still be weaker than star fairies …
Honestly this whole conversation with Domika has amused me, since awhile back I asked if a water fairy could freeze and control ice. If i recall correctly the answer was a sort of “they could be it would require a lot of magic.” So energy water hybrid immediately popped into my head.
Water fairies can freeze water easilly, as long as they trained to do that
Water+Air duals have easier time due to beign able reduce the temperature of the surrounding air. Similarly Water+Dark duals can freeze stuff quickly due to the energy drain abilities
