Precision depends on what fairy doing and how far away she is. Since they in next room it easy to make out the shape. However this is not magic sight – it more like ambient noise she hears
I feel sorry for Grain, that sort of emotional “hearing” would be exhausting especially in a society so liberal with intimacy. Wherever you went there would be this constant noise equivalent to the sirens of a city pulling at your focus distracting you all the time.
Useful for finding lost fairies in the wilderness though.
I imagine that Grain could get/has gotten used to it, just like a human could living in a part of a big city where frequent emergency sirens are more common.
I also imagine she’s less bothered by the “noise”, or even what they’re doing, and more bothered that they could get in some sort of trouble if found out. Am I correct, story leaders?
And for that matter, why would they get in trouble? If sex is so necessary for fairy society, wouldn’t even the military incorporate it’s use, even if heavily regimented or regulated? –JR

4 pages. Took longer than I thought.
Gotta wonder if she’s even worried about being caught or just doesn’t wanna deal with the hassle of being lectured.
