Star is making a deal with a devil here, and I really hope she can make it out of this mostly unscathed. She might well be my favorite character in the whole comic. She’s got so much going on under the surface. Relatable, well-meaning, try-hard, calculating, and earnest as she can be while still pushing her agenda. I hope she is okay. I take comfort knowing that it would take an immensely power being to subdue her [glances nervously at Monolith].
I’d debate we’ve had several instances of that so far. So whatever’s in store would have to be pretty up there. (not like I’ve got a problem with that, as I am a degenerate)
We did, and people complained, so I’ve decided to put a warning because it’s one of the rougher instances. if someone has an issue, they can check back in 8 months when it’s all said and done lol.
Complaints, seriously? Why are people complaining surely, they know what to expect. I mean there are tentacle monsters for crying out loud it’s been pretty open with what to expect from the very beginning. Come for the boobs stay for the story which is very compelling btw.
I want to know what’s happening with the spaceship and the dooms day satelite? And when the war is going to start? What had happened with the captive fairies?
we’ll get there eventually, but these events are still happening on the evening of the same day of the council meeting, so not much else has happened yet.
That’s weird, did you successfully join before? like years ago or something? or are you using a VPN or doing so from a place that could block nsfw servers? I had to ban people because sometime their account get hacked and they start spamming, I’m just wondering what could be blocking you and not others. I could give you a temporary invite and you can try to use it but you’ll have to do it within 24hrs or so.
I’m thinking Monolith is a draigjiby who was tasked with, or chose to, try and deal with the free nihillium that was corrupting the environment when nihallaks were killed. She may have been separated from the others, to keep from contaminating them, and survived when the era-ender killed the other draigjibies. She may also have been the reason Fairy Island became a sanctuary while the rest of the world succumbed to wild nihillium. As a non-fairy, she would initially have been weak in magic and psionics, and received some of that power from Star. However, Monolith’s nose doesn’t have scales, so she might not be a draigjiby, but a proto-fairy created before the star fairies.

The “monster” part of tentacle monster is very downplayed in lot of stories. Actually, even in THIS story in case of Zak.

Even before seeing next page I had my doubts about this form of Monolith being intentional. Has all the signs of “not going as planned”.
