I am suprised that Star didn’t get how time travel work. If Lucky come back into the her original time line it cause that there was 2 Luckys that potentialy can make a space-time paradox that kills one of them, the fact that Lucky always travels to the line where she is alone indicates that she cannot be somewhere twice.
Her soul would have to be transferred between her versions across alternate realities to achieve what Etar want, and that seems like a level that even Lucky can’t handle.
On one hand, People Who Say It Cannot Be Done Should Not Interrupt Those Who Are Doing It. On the other, Star is not doing anything, she wants Lucky to do something and Lucky already tried and failed (and, apparently, didn’t get over it completely yet.)
In a way she does want her lover back – as she did get good impression of her from Lucky’s memories. Wants to know who was the person for whom a version of Star would even break star fairy taboos
That’s not entirely true either. Star only wants to be the one to save fairykind, because she thinks she can do better than Lucky. That she can save fairykind with less sacrifices than Lucky could in her uncountable attempts. She hasn’t even considered that she might not reach omnipotence or that she might even be less capable than Lucky.
There are limit’s to Everything. The ceiling might be high, and you can build a big ladder to reach it. But what about after you’ve gone past it? Your gonna need a bigger ladder than you can possibly imagine. Lucky knows that, Star doesn’t. But as they say, she’s outside the timeline now. I’m sure she’ll learn soon enough.

That didn’t work out at all. Anyone think she’ll just give up?

Star is being selfish, she wants her lover back but lucky wants to save the entire species.
Star doesn’t want her lover back, she couldn’t care less about that. She’s upset that it’s LUCKY saving the species not her.

Good luck finding limits of universe, imagination or human stupidity.
