Most of the time the main political power is always the problem. I’m not one of those “Tear down the system” types. But history has shown that there are alot of times when diplomacy fails, it can be better to start anew than try to fix something so broken.
History also tells us that “start anew” is easier said than done. Usually you need several tries before you get something better than the previous system.
Nextgener, while it can be better to start anew in some cases, it can be destructive. What if YOU were born in a different place/time, but still yourself, and was part of and/or responsible for a broken system? Wouldn’t you rather someone help you become correct instead of tearing that system – and probably you – down?
And indeed, HK, it can be hard to start anew, and even harder to fix it. But if you care about people, I think it’s worth trying. Several times. The council can become part of the solution if they’re as kindhearted as they let on in that meeting.
Kindhearted people can have moments where they’re not very kind. Several, sometimes… Centuries-long, maybe… hmm, perhaps not. Well, anyone can BECOME kindhearted…. ‘:-) –JR
Wow. So long ago… the time seems to fly.
My first comment here looks like I ignored Nexgener’s comment:
“I’m not one of those “Tear down the system” types.”
I respect that, and am sure I wouldn’t ignore it, yet I posted like I did. Apologies.
I’ll just say this to Nextgener, HKMaly, Detvan, and anyone else:
We are all broken.
Diplomacy must improve,
Or we’ll tear us down.
Hopefully, that haiku-ooled down the temperature. 😉 –JR

Lucky’s “Aren’t you proud of me, Mom?” moment didn’t go well.
You may have done some mistakes but I trust you much more than Star, Lucky.
Also, seems Lucky also thinks Star Council is part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Had to jump in here.

Kindhearted? Look again at how they responded to Ominae. And that wasn’t first time.
Well… I said “if”. XD

Yeah but history also showed as that is need several revolutions in a row to get some normal system … and even that system end as absolute mess.
