Lowering the value of something isn’t as bad as investment firms would have you believe. When something is cheap, it mean it can be used in mass production. The lower cost of steel production was one of the main driver of industrialization and infrastructure development.
I agree! The only issue is the common one of making sure people have enough time to adapt to the change. To cause any real problem by lowering the monetary value of something, such as diamonds, by increasing it’s availability would require an insanely large number of them to be available all at once.
The amount only need to be large compared to current amount of that commodity on market. We do NOT know how big fairies market is. It might be possible for Ominae to create enough diamonds, but it would likely be boring for her.
If you’re referring to the diamond in 699, only Ominae can do that, as pointed out in 528. But diamonds aren’t expensive because of their rarity alone anyway, they’re one of the more common gemstones. They’re expensive because the diamond industry wants them to be and customers are willing to pay anyway. Half of all the diamonds in the world are stockpiled by a single company.
Oh,and somewhere in space there is a single diamond with a 4000km diameter, nicknamed Lucy, its official name is BPM 37093.

Mmmhmm, until the economy start’s getting flooded with precious metals, thereby lowering they’re overall value.
Sometimes being the few can be more important than some think.

Diamonds are also not THAT hard to manufacture and while diamond industry claims natural diamonds are “better” it’s bullshit.
