August Overview

Hi everyone, July went pretty well, and I managed to get some progress done on the Island map. Funding also seems to be improving and that’s always good news. For August there are 2 bonus pictures planned, along with the usual 2 character questions, and there are some fairly big fvt commissions being worked on as well, although I’m not sure they will all be ready by the end of this month.

Hi folks! Sweltering July is here, but hopefully things go more smoothly than June. It’s a 5 Mondays month, so you can expect 5 pages. The funding has been shaky for the last couple months though, so I’ve been using the buffer pages that were saved up, let’s see if things improve in the second half of the year. I really hope I have time to work on the map this time, but with a 5 pages schedule, I’m not holding my breath…

Hi everybody! I hope you’re having a nice spring. This month we’re wrapped up chapter 13, things are moving steadily, gotta go back to writing harder to prepare for the big scenes. It’s early but I also have been thinking about FvT’s 10th anniversary, in November. I don’t want to have to do something crazy like a 50 characters lineup or whatever, but I gotta think about something special for 10 years, and it’s better to do it now than a week before the event. If anybody has suggestions, you can always write it down in the comments. There’s already been some discussion on discord about it so I might already have a winner, but new suggestions are welcome~

Hi everybody, a new month a new overview. My return to work has been productive, and I hope I can do as much this March. I’d like to do a few more bonus pieces if I have time, but I won’t push myself too hard, I don’t want to hurt my wrist again.
I did spend some time last month working on the fvt script, and I’m happy to annouce I’ve reached a good milestone, I can’t tell what it is without revealing major spoilers, but I can say that by chapter 30, we’ll be 3/4 done with the main story. I need to refine said script, and work in more details for each chapter, and I might decide add a chapter or two depending on content density, but the finish line is in sight, just gotta draw my way there.

The overall idea is that I want to complete the main story, and then work on smaller stories and play around with the world I created. When I started fairies vs tentacle I didn’t expect I would expand its lore so much, but I did, as fans became very interested in my silly little hentai story and invested themselves in its various aspects. But I can’t explore all of this with the main story, or it will go on forever. So once the main story is over, it won’t be the end but rather a new phase of the exploration of that world, with new characters and adventure that can stand on their own without tedious tie back to things that happened hundred of pages ago. Some stories might happen in the past of the fairy island, others might happen in the present, some even in the future. We’ll see in due time.

I mainly just wanted to let you know an end is planned. My goal was never to have it go on forever, it’s just taking longer than I originally planned for various reason, but we’ll get there. Thank you for following me on this journey and stay awesome~

Hi everyone, I’m back to work! As mentioned during my break, the funding for January will be used through the year for additional pages and bonus content, but we’re keeping things casual for this February. I’ll indicate clearly when extra funding will be used.

Also, I found some time during my vacation to get some more work on the Fairy Island full map. I’m currently working on the Northen lands where the chaos fairies dwell. It used to be just a gray squiggle on the old map, but now I’m putting in more features.
