2nd paragraph of Panel 3: I LITERALLY JUST THOUGHT OF THAT!! If the Atma Lobe is the part of the brain with the link, and any part of the brain can be damaged even with less-than-concussive force, and the link can’t come back once removed, then a fairy could totally get hit on the head (with a coconut, of course) and lose her link without dying or even being knocked unconscious. I knew Eldrik would agree with that if I had suggested it before this was made! –J

Sure it wouldn’t be easy, but the link is important, even if the fairy could live without the link she wouldn’t be able to generate her own magic.
