The irony is the Nhils (which is a phrase I just thought up and am Totally coining) didn’t even Remember the warning after all these year’s.
Ya think they would have tried something simpler like, say, a direct communication message to they’re terminal.
Also agreeing it’s stupid since they’re only being invaded by 1 ship, and could Easily pin-point focus it’s destruction from Space. Though I’m guessing subtlety wasn’t exactly in they’re design schematics when they were inventing a Meteor Launcher.

To be fair, it was said that Armagon had trouble detecting the Nihallaks (hence why Lucky had to tell it) so it simply might not know where the Nihallaks are on the island or how many, only that they are. As well as the fact that not all the Nihallaks are on the ship at any given time
