Ya know, I’m always amazed that almost every character has a detailed background/bio. I don’t think I know a single comic that’s done that.

Though not every one has much info. For example the fairies from fertility party have little info on their sheets, as I either had little to go by or they were supporter OCs and i couldn’t get in touch with them
Some mini-sheets will eventually be replaved by official ones. For example star fairy character sheet are made but they are for supporters currently. At end of summer they will be uploaded here. For star fairy sheets most likely eill make post that their sheets updated, since there is lots of info there that is interesting
For a fairy to gain mini sheet she must have a name mentioned snd had and appearamce of some sort in comic or character questiond. The nature fairy Beryl for example appeared several times till she finally was named. It is likely to happen with several fairies over time. Oposite is true – there is a named fairy in the missing fairy posters that has not physically appeared yet – so cant make one for her
As for nihallaks it helps keeping track of the numbers (though it is bit spoilery if you see that there is a character with a folliwing number 😀 )
“It took some time but we figured it out”? That’s not encryption, that’s riddle. For reasonable encryption, you either have the key, in which case it’s easy, or you don’t, in which case breaking the encryption takes thousands of years.
… unless they, like, forgot where they put the key and was searching for it or something.
yeah, figuring it out as in “How does this crap work again?” Not sitting in front of the screen and trying to decipher the stuff with a notepad. You can imagine they don’t communicate often with Armagon regarding their everyday duties. I could’ve made that clearer, but I suspect it doesn’t make much of a difference to the average reader.
… based on next page, I guess it may be because basically every time encrypted message arrives they wipe memory of everyone who knows how to decrypt them.

I just figured that it took them several days to figure out that it was an encrypted message and not just noise. This world must have a lot more background noise than our world does, what with all the Nihillium floating around…
First, no, the message apparently arrived AFTER the fairies meeting.
Second, no, their world has LESS background noise than ours in frequencies which matters – if Nihillium communicates on long distances (and I don’t think it does), it’s limited to extremely short waves, terahertz maybe. Satellite communication is done in gigahertz, on waves almost centimeter long.
Third, the fairies may forgot (or be made forgot), but the computer systems are EXPECTING such message.
Armagon hasn’t contacted them for almost a thousand years. You can forget stuff in that time. Or they are new people wirking there
You can. I can. Fairies can. Computers, however, generally don’t forget. With proper maintenance, machine can patiently and tirelessly wait for expected signal forever.
I wonder if what happened wasn’t “We were about to send your message, so we moved mouse to turn off screensaver and we noticed there is popup on screen that message was received.”
Like, the system may be designed very nicely and foolproof. It will still take them some time to navigate menus they were never in before …
Why do you say there would be less background noise? As I understand it your numbers would probably be correct for radio wave communication, but why would Armagon necessarily be using radio?
What ELSE you think Armagon would use from orbit, sound? 🙂
Armagon is technology from previous era, build by Draigjibie. It’s unlikely to use whatever nihallaks are using for connecting to core, and they seem to be using radio or maybe Omatt for normal communication. Omatt, again, is unlikely to be used on Armagon as that would likely be technology only stolen after it was build, and probably works similarly as photons in communication anyway.
And fairies have much less technology than we do – they are more advanced but with exception of Stars they are not much using it. Therefore, less background noise.
They might have had to try several keys, or several decryption methods, or the encrypted message might have resembled something else, or it might have been encrypted more than once (Armagon WAS created during a war, after all, so hiding the fact that it was an encrypted message could be expected). And if they were decrypting by hand, well, that could take a while, too.
Decrypting by hand is possible only theoretically. Even with keys, how long do you think would take you to multiply two numbers with several hundreds of digits? And remember that you would either need to do all calculation in binary or hexadecimal, or convert the bases several times. Like us, fairies have 10 fingers so probably count in decimal normally.
(I mean, if I would be starting a society from scratch, I would totally teach them counting in hexadecimal or maybe octal, it would be worth it. But I don’t think Draigjibies though about it. Hmmm … actually it’s more surprising Kulthma didn’t think about it. Nihallaks have no reason to use decimal.)
I wonder. Could they reverse entropy on Amy and return her to a point before she had her high plane connection severed? And could she then continue on as normal?
This is sadly not possible as the high plane connection come from outside the universe and isn’t affected by local entropy changes. That’s also why fairies have laws against bringing dead fairies back to life, because it’d be that same kind of half-life that Amy is currently stuck with.
I don’t think Amy is in so bad shape, but I understand that most resurrected fairies have it worse due to actually being dead in addition to losing the high plane connection.
