True, but I’m sure they would have training. Leather is probably material, and they most likely have some form of training to balance with it. Plus, tail’s strong.
I use an rss called “The Old Reader” created by someone who preferred the Google Reader over others before Google cancelled it. Extremely easy to set up and use. No need to go to all the trouble of setting up through WordPress – just subscribe to this comic and each rss item brings you to the corresponding episode, bingo bango bongo, as the Ancients used to say.

Concerned as random guard doesn’t have a name. That doesn’t bode well for survivability.
I can’t name every background fairy 😀
*cuts to me naming the adventurer trio that caught the worm*
Are you asking for help? We don’t have any Alice yet, do we?
(Although I suppose you would ask paying supporters first.)
Nah, just joking
Ouch. that must hurt.
If ya been out to the Dark Forest and haven’t taken a few hits at some point, ya ain’t doing your job right.
Disagree. It just mean you spend lot of time training before that.
Is that armor on the tail as well? If so, smart idea
I think that would cause counterbalance issues. It’s probably more like leather straps.

Leather can count as armor. Not as good as chain mail, but better than nothing.
I have a technical question. How do I setup email notifications for when new comic pages are released?
Depends what programming language you want to program it in 🙂
There doesn’t seem to be email notification directly in the comics. However, looking at https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-notify-subscribers-of-new-posts-in-wordpress/ you can set up some notification based on RSS feed yourself even without programming (the option 2, Sendinblue).
