Either Murish falls very slowly, or he got lost. Or stopped to fill up on the way down.

I’m going to guess that Nadisha plays the role of helpless-fairy decoy, and when the monster comes out to attack her, Murish ambushes it. I’m hoping Murish’s attacks don’t involve biting; that could cause the fight to take a wrong turn.
