Today the fvt Patreon is officially shutting down.
That doesn’t mean the project is dying, it’s simply because Patreon nsfw restrictions and conditions are becoming unreasonable and is simply not worth my time. Roughly 85% of the comic is already funded through Discord, but there will be some loss of funding through this shut down.

Wait what? Patreon has NSFW restrictions? I wasn’t aware there is anything else than NSFW content on it … hmmm … oh, right. It’s Visa and Mastercard forcing them to.
Most nsfw artists will juggle with the evermore suffocating restrictions because they need to, but to me it’s not worth the hassle.
Have you considered Subscribestar? They’re basically a platform built for hosting NSFW content.
Until they’re not, like Patreon did, or Onlyfan tried to do until the backlash was too bad. I don’t want to give a cut of my profit to random ass platform who can’t promote or guarantee to keep my work.
Eh, I get why that mindset is so common. when it comes to NSFW content on the internet, nothing feels safe because the tyrannical puritan’s want everything to be family friendly. (while they more than likely have a hard drive full of porn themselves)
Still, there’s no such thing as 100% safety no matter what you do sadly. That’s why it’s always best to have as many back ups as possible.
I have contingency plans that doesn’t involve giving money to unreliable third parties. This website hosted outside north america is part of it.
They don’t need hard drive full of porn. They have real live whores ready to roleplay anything for them. They can afford it – and it actually gets cheaper the less alternatives sex workers have.
