I knew that Ominae was going to go to the nihallaks, especially Zak who is one of the good ones, I think he will help her build a new invention so that she can have her daughter/sister, without having to go to the magic cave.
Unfortunately ya make the bed ya sleep in.
I feel bad for Ominae of course. But she did sort of Forget she had an active egg inside her, and then proceed to have a major romp.
Never thought I’d be talking so much about safe sex in this comic since they can, ya know, actively control they’re reproduction.
They might not have strove for that “post-nut” clarity, but hey, I suppose it’s…

Seriously, joking aside*, I hope somewhere in a future chapter, even if just a bit, they address HOW Ominae could FORGET something like THAT. She *must* have been saving magic for it, and *actively* on guard with any other sexual partners…
What was that in the lore file about dark magic causing amnesia?? –JR

I don’t think Ominae has had a lot of partners of her own species lately.
Most of the star fairies and arch fairies don’t have partners, probably because they are in leadership positions (except for Amora, for whom almost everyone is a partner.) As for Ominae forgetting about the egg, permission to create an egg is probably a once in a lifetime thing, so thinking about carrying an egg is not something any fairy is used to doing. Ominae has been under a lot of stress, so she has been thinking about the things she has to do, not the things she’s not supposed to do. Definitely a “tie a string around your finger” situation.

For dark fairy, permission to reproduce probably is once a lifetime thing, for others probably more common but likely less than once per century. Definitely rare enough to not be used to it.
